A two-hour car ride from Minneapolis and St. Located in the heart of Minnesota on 525 acres, this community is surrounded by national parks, lakes, forests, and breathtaking sunsets that dance along the rolling hills as far as the eye can see. The Camphill Village Minnesota location was chosen for its established milking herd and landscape that was well suited for the building of a community variety of flat areas, wetlands, and forest, and soil that had not been touched by herbicides or pesticides. Since it started in 1980, the community has grown to include about 45 people living on 525 biodynamic acres. Other activities found in Camphill Village Minnesota include artisan baking, weaving, woodworking, culture and movement, arts, and caring for our homes and shared spaces.Ĭamphill Minnesota was founded by a couple of experienced Camphill volunteers and a few young adults who grew up in Camphill Village Copake. To keep the land healthy and thriving they practice sustainable forestry and controlled prairie burns. Healing herbs and flowers are grown in the herb garden and processed to make teas and products for the community. On the biodynamic farm they raise beef and dairy cows, laying hens and the grains that feed them. In the Harvest Kitchen, the bountiful harvest is canned, fermented, juiced, frozen and dried. They grow a variety of vegetables and fruits in gardens, orchards, fields, greenhouses and high tunnels. Each person, regardless of limitations, is an individual thread in the fabric of the community experience and is worthy of recognition, respect and honor.Ĭamphill Village Minnesota is an agricultural community, committed to growing wholesome, sustainable food with biodynamic practices. Randy joined Harvest in 2019 as the Associate Pastor of Discipleship.The lives of those living at Camphill Village Minnesota are woven into the rhythms of nature found in the rolling hills, sparkling waterways, and prairie grasslands. They have five children and ten grandchildren.

Randy served as Director of Financial Aid and Donna as Admissions Office Manager. Randy and Donna worked together in various church and Christian school ministries until 2002 when they joined the staff at Maranatha Baptist University. Randy met Donna at Maranatha and they were married in April of 1977.

After many years in pastoral ministry that took them to Illinois, New York, California, Indiana and Wisconsin, Randy completed his Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling at Maranatha Baptist Seminary. Randy and Donna both completed bachelor’s degrees at Maranatha Baptist Bible College Randy with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies and a minor in Public Speaking, graduating in 1976 and Donna with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1977. Randy trusted Christ as his Savior in 1970 and was called to pastoral ministry during the Summer of 1973 as a counselor at Camp CoBeAc – a Christian Camp in northern Michigan. Randy Hibbs was born in Brownsville, PA, but moved to Michigan with his family at the age of 12.
